knickknack tags- small compositions
small tags can bring so much joy.
just regular small tags you buy to price things; package of like 100. probably from Walmart.
grab a small handful. and pour the extra, now-cold coffee onto them. sprinkle instant coffee on the tags to darken a few up.
when you are happy with the color. lay out to dry.
challenge yourself to only use paper and fabric bits you can find. heck pick the bits out of the studio garbage. these are the magical pieces anyway.
the pieces you thought were too small to use for anything else.
and then, sew. glue. staple these to your tags.
nothing special by themselves, but when layered onto your small coffee’d tags create small little knickknack pieces of joy.
