storytelling

happy 2021. glad to be into a new year.

how about you? 2020 did not look at all how I thought it was going to. on almost any front.

but, there were some good things that were rediscovered.

home. and loving our home space. because we spent so much time there. do you do any updates?

I even did container gardening! did you?

family time. and how we connect. and that isolation makes seeing people in person that much more special right?

some of the projects I did at the end of the year helped me figure out my word of the year for 2021.

it started really with my DNA of a Matchbook class and the stories and old pics of my grandparents and great grandparents.

then, throw in a couple of 6day challenge collaborations and my word for this year was readily apparent.

storytelling.

I have been loving my new-to-me typewriter and the hum when I just turn it on. the keys spacing is just enough different from a computer keyboard, that sometimes my fingers are reaching looking for a letter, or maybe the key is a little sticky, and I hit another letter.

a little extra quirkiness and a whole lotta love.

I will be typing up little snip-its and doing more storytelling this year for sure.

did you pick a word this year? let me know what you chose.
