Listening

and she was listening. simple. sewn. and dripping in coffee.

paintbrush chippy and losing its’ silver paint and protection with every use; but it would be the one she constantly reached for. reliable.

fingerprints left in the creamy paint. no overwork.

the book’s size doesn’t matter. it is the content within. how she felt that day. and the happiness this page brings every time she looks at it.

stop searching. just listen. in the beginning…. this can be really hard; but it will be there.
