Cut loose {creatively}

Sometimes you just need to cut loose {creatively}....

I had worked all afternoon on a project.

And, realized that I hadn’t “finished” the binding when my last page was almost falling off…… lol. Who needs instructions?

Thank goodness for Google. Oh, and Youtube.

Insert instructions…..I was able to discover “the proper way” to finish off that binding.

Sheesh.

Needless to say when I was finally finished, I wanted to just play for a moment.

No rules. No bindings.

Barely any rules.

In fact, I didn’t even have to spray the distress stain…..

The bottle was pleasantly leaking around the pump.

I saw the first drop and then, encouraged the drips.

And who doesn’t love some scribbles?! I love finding child scribbles on book covers and/ or pages scattered throughout books.

I do try to emulate those marks.

The whimsy.

Playfulness.

Children have no inhibitions when creating…..

I started with some under paper…. It already had some color on it (mainly, cuz I am messy)

And played from there.

If you missed the short, I will link it here for you.

Happy Holidays to all!

Thank you so much for being here.
